Tickets Now On Sale for “Chronicles of the Realm” Fully-Immersive Weekend-Long Event July 21-23
CHICAGO, Illinois (March 30, 2023) -- Otherworld Theatre Company, the premier science fiction and fantasy production company in North America, in partnership with Moonrise Games today announced details surrounding the next installment of their popular Live Action Role Playing (LARP) event, CHRONICLES OF THE REALM, to be held in Monticello, Illinois July 21 - 23. The LARP weekend is fully-immersive with participants’ decisions changing how the story unfolds, and includes room, catered meals, character development sessions with the Game Master, and surprises along the way.
“This is Otherworld Theatre and Moonrise’s tenth anniversary year,” said Otherworld Theatre Artistic Director and Moonrise Game Master Tiffany Keane Schaefer. “Both of these companies further our mission to bring a theatrical experience to the science fiction and fantasy genre, celebrating the depth of human imagination with engaging, high-quality storytelling for nearly a decade.

In the high fantasy CHRONICLES OF THE REALM: LIAISONS & LEGIONS OF NEW LYSTAR, the forces of Amelor are preparing to defend its shores against encroaching armies of Invohl. Players travel to Amelor for a two-night, three-day all-inclusive adventure full of high fantasy, exquisite costumes, political intrigue, a royal ball, and the ultimate battle. CHRONICLES OF THE REALM: LIAISONS & LEGIONS OF NEW LYSTAR will be held at the Allerton Park and Retreats in Monticello, Illinois.
