Sip into Springtime with Mango, Blackberry, Hibiscus Highlights
Chicago, Illinois (April 17, 2023) – Spring is in the air, and with it comes brand new Spring and Summer cocktails at The Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. A two-drink minimum being a classic comedy club mainstay, The Den Theatre’s bar program offers a top quality, diverse selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all expertly delivered to your seat by stealthy servers so as not to disturb the show.
With the Spring and Summer menu, The Den Bar & Lounge introduces three new cocktails:
Mango Masala Spritz
Curzan white rum, Garam Masala syrup, mango nectar, lime juice, and soda water garnished with a chili dried mango slice
Blackberry Margarita
Corazon tequila blanco, St. Germain, blackberry syrup, and lime juice garnished with a lime wheel
World’s Best Highball
Jim Beam bourbon, hibiscus grenadine, lime juice, Peychaud’s bitters, and soda water garnished with an edible orchid blossom
“The Den Theatre prides itself on offering the best, most innovative cocktail program at any theatre in Chicago,” said Brooks Boaz, The Den Bar & Lounge manager. “Our menu boasts something for everyone, and we are particularly proud of our partnerships with local distilleries and providers including Koval and Appel’s Cordials in Lincoln Square.”
The bar also features a full range of draft and canned beer, with many local breweries represented including Revolution, Maplewood, Metropolitan, Buckledown, Half Acre, Spiteful, and Goose Island.
The Den Theatre’s non-alcoholic cocktail menu features time-honored favorites including an Italian Cream Soda with a choice of hibiscus grenadine, blackberry, or peach syrups; a non-alcoholic Cosmopolitan; a non-alcoholic Oaxacan Sunrise; and hibiscus, blackberry, and peach lemonades.
