Fan Favorite Actors Appear at Chicago’s Original Comic Con August 16 - 18, 2024
Chicago, Illinois (April 25, 2024) – Even more fan-favorite film and television casts will reunite on stage at Chicago’s original comic con, FAN EXPO Chicago, it was announced today. Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomeijoins the roster of stars fans can meet and greet at the 52nd edition of the pop culture and comic convention, alongside new cast reunions including CHARMED and TERMINATOR franchise stars, and some of SEINFELD’s most beloved character actors. FAN EXPO Chicago runs August 16 - 18, 2024 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
Marisa Tomei gained worldwide acclaim for her Oscar-winning turn as Mona Lisa Vito in MY COUSIN VINNY, receiving further Best Supporting Actress nods for her work in IN THE BEDROOM and THE WRESTLER. Tomei entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, portraying Peter Parker’s Aunt May.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the world’s introduction to the seminal sci-fi classic THE TERMINATOR series, FAN EXPO Chicago welcomes Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick, Edward Furlong, Lance Henriksen, and Michael Biehn.
The cast of CHARMED reunites at FAN EXPO Chicago, including Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, and Rose McGowan, whose SCREAM co-stars also appear throughout the weekend.
From the world of SEINFELD come a host of fan favorite character actors including Jerry’s nemesis, nefarious postal worker Newman (Wayne Knight, JURASSIC PARK); Elaine’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Puddy (Patrick Warburton, voice of THE TICK); legal eagle Jackie Chiles (Phil Morris, who also portrayed Miles Dyson in TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES); and the Soup Nazi (Larry Thomas).
The just-announced guests join an impressive roster, including Captain James T. Kirk himself, William Shatner; FIREFLY stars Alan Tudyk and Morena Baccarin; DAREDEVIL stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio; SCREAM franchise stars Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy, Lee Waddell, and Laurie Metcalf; THEGUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY’s Sean Gunn; SAVED BY THE BELL’s Mario Lopez; and more.
FAN EXPO Chicago, the longest-running pop culture convention in Chicago, runs August 16 - 18, 2024 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
